THE TESTING OF YOUR FAITH
Scriptural Reading: James 1:1-4
The faith of every Christian must be tested by whatever instrument God chooses just like gold is tested by fire. There is no exemption. The essence is just to proof or confirm our faith and, if we endure to the end, it will result in praise, and glory and honour when Christ is revealed (1Peter 1: 6-7). In fact, our lives are battered from beginning to the end by both temptations and trials. While the devil is actively working us down with temptations to sin, God is working us up to holiness, through trials or tests. Both of them will lift us up if we do not waver.
You and I need to be on the alert, with eagerness to succeed because at the end, we will celebrate our victory just like students who have passed their exams or athletes who have succeeded in competition. It is the Father's will to give us the kingdom so he will not test any of us beyond what we can bear. He doesn't just set an exam he knows we cannot pass. This exam is then a must-pass if we hope to be crowned at the end.
MEDITATION:
Do you see the problems you have now as trial or temptation?
STRATEGIC PRAYER POINTS:
1. Lord, help me to be steadfast whenever you are perfecting my faith with tests
2. Lord help me to know the differences between trials and temptations, and to act aright
3. Lord, turn every one of my temptations and trials into triumph

5. Present your private intentions to God

DAILY PROPHETIC PRAYERS
Lord, you are my Shepherd there is nothing I shall want. You make me lie down in green pastures. You also lead me beside the still waters. Lord, you restore my soul and lead me on the path of righteousness for your namesake. Even though I walk through the valley of the shadows of death, I shall fear no evil. For you oh Lord are with me in all situations. Your shepherd rod comforts me with signs and wonders, deliverance and protection in the victorious name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Amen.
For this reason, I shall neither stumble nor fall. I shall not be a victim of accident, sickness, diseases and untimely death. I shall rise above every limitation and rejoice as you prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies.
You oh Lord have anointed my head with oil and has declared to the hearing of my enemies; “Touch not my anointed and do my prophet no harm”. By the reason of your anointing upon my life oh Lord, my cup overflows with grace, mercy, uncommon favours, divine uplifting and your blessing that makes rich and adds no sorrows in the mighty name of Jesus.
Surely, your goodness and mercy shall follow me, all the days of my life and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord, forever and ever in the most powerful name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Amen.
PRAYER TO ST MICHAEL THE ARCHANGEL AGAINST THE FORCES BEHIND COVID - 19.
Holy Michael, the Archangel, defend us in battle. Be our safeguard against the wickedness and snares of the devil. May God rebukes him, we humbly pray, and do you, O Prince of the heavenly host, by the power of God cast into hell Satan and all the evil spirits who wander through the world seeking the ruin of souls. Amen.
WE PRAY WITH ST JUDE THE PATRON OF DIFFICULT CASES AGAINST THE SPREAD OF CORONA VIRUS
O most holy apostle, Saint Jude, faithful servant and friend of Jesus, the Church honoureth and invoketh thee universally, as the patron of hopeless cases and things almost despaired of.
Pray for me, who am so miserable. Make use, I implore thee, of that particular privilege accorded to thee, to bring visible and speedy help where help was almost despaired of.
Come to mine assistance in this great need, that I may receive the consolation and succour of Heaven in all my necessities, tribulations, and sufferings, particularly...

...and that I may praise God with thee and all the elect throughout eternity.
I promise thee, O blessed Jude, to be ever mindful of this great favour, to always honour thee as my special and powerful patron, and to gratefully encourage devotion to thee. Amen.
