CHARISMA DAILY DEVOTIONAL 15TH NOVEMBER 2020

CHARISMA DAILY DEVOTIONAL 15TH NOVEMBER 2020

CHARISMA DAILY DEVOTIONAL

SUNDAY 15 NOVEMBER 2020

BE BOLD IN HIS PRESENCE

Scriptural Reading: Hebrews 4:15-16

No one comes before the throne of grace and departs empty-handed. In the past, it was difficult to go to the presence of the God. It was either you were a high priest, a prophet or anything close to that. The coming of Jesus has however changed all that. We now have access to the throne of mercy through the blood of Jesus which has atoned for our sins. Every one of us can now approach the throne of grace with confidence, without fear of the thunder and lightning. What is it that you need or desire? God wants to hear you out. Jesus says that you should ask “using my name and you will receive, and you will have abundant joy” (John 16:24).

MEDITATION:

Do you know that God is eager to fellowship with you?

STRATEGIC PRAYER POINTS:

1. Talk to God concerning anything that you are inspired to pray about

2. Recall and thank God for your prayers answered

3. Pray that nothing will make you doubt God.

4. Pray for the Leaders of the Church and of the Catholic Charismatic Renewal of Nigeria

5. Present your private intentions to God

DAILY PROPHETIC PRAYERS

Lord, you are my Shepherd there is nothing I shall want. You make me lie down in green pastures. You also lead me beside the still waters. Lord, you restore my soul and lead me on the path of righteousness for your namesake. Even though I walk through the valley of the shadows of death, I shall fear no evil. For you oh Lord are with me in all situations. Your shepherd rod comforts me with signs and wonders, deliverance and protection in the victorious name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Amen.

For this reason, I shall neither stumble nor fall. I shall not be a victim of accident, sickness, diseases and untimely death. I shall rise above every limitation and rejoice as you prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies.

You oh Lord have anointed my head with oil and has declared to the hearing of my enemies; “Touch not my anointed and do my prophet no harm”. By the reason of your anointing upon my life oh Lord, my cup overflows with grace, mercy, uncommon favours, divine uplifting and your blessing that makes rich and adds no sorrows in the mighty name of Jesus.

Surely, your goodness and mercy shall follow me, all the days of my life and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord, forever and ever in the most powerful name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Amen.

PRAYER TO ST MICHAEL THE ARCHANGEL AGAINST THE FORCES BEHIND COVID - 19.

Holy Michael, the Archangel, defend us in battle. Be our safeguard against the wickedness and snares of the devil. May God rebukes him, we humbly pray, and do you, O Prince of the heavenly host, by the power of God cast into hell Satan and all the evil spirits who wander through the world seeking the ruin of souls. Amen.

WE PRAY WITH ST JUDE THE PATRON OF DIFFICULT CASES AGAINST THE SPREAD OF CORONA VIRUS

O most holy apostle, Saint Jude, faithful servant and friend of Jesus, the Church honoureth and invoketh thee universally, as the patron of hopeless cases and things almost despaired of.

Pray for me, who am so miserable. Make use, I implore thee, of that particular privilege accorded to thee, to bring visible and speedy help where help was almost despaired of.

Come to mine assistance in this great need, that I may receive the consolation and succour of Heaven in all my necessities, tribulations, and sufferings, particularly...

(insert your prayer request here, especially  the menace of COVID - 19 Pandemic)

...and that I may praise God with thee and all the elect throughout eternity.

I promise thee, O blessed Jude, to be ever mindful of this great favour, to always honour thee as my special and powerful patron, and to gratefully encourage devotion to thee. Amen.
